Battle For Kashmir: Conspiracy And War: August-November 1947

Kashmir faced a critical moment on 22 October 1947, when a combined force of 6,000 Kabailis and Pakistani army personnel clashed with the soldiers of the J&K State forces. This act of treachery in Muzaffarabad put Srinagar and the princely State's royalty at risk, as only a few hours separated the invaders from the undefended summer capital of the State. The British plan to annex Kashmir for Pakistan appeared to be on track until a group of courageous men chose to confront the colonial power's sinister plans.
